Quantsly is a financial analytics platform operated from Denmark. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our service at quantsly.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data required to provide the Service:

Account data: Email address, display name, and hashed password when you create an account.
Usage data: Which models you run, tickers you analyze, and saved analyses — stored to provide dashboard features.
Session data: A session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect payment card details — all billing is handled by Paddle (our Merchant of Record).
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle collects and processes your payment information directly under their own privacy policy. We never see or store your credit card details. For more information, see Paddle's Privacy Policy.

5. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the Service (account management, saved analyses, alerts)
To send transactional emails (account verification, insider alerts you've subscribed to)
To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Hetzner in the EU (Finland). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to processing of your data

9. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie (ql_sid) to maintain your login session. No advertising, analytics, or third-party cookies are used.

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
