Understanding Variable-Rate Preferred Dividends
How Variable Rates Work
Unlike fixed-rate preferred stocks (STRK at 8%, STRF at 10%), STRC and SATA pay variable-rate dividends. The rate is designed to keep the share price near the $100 stated amount.
Payment Schedule
STRC dividends are paid on the last business day of each month. SATA dividends are paid on the 15th of each month. Both are cumulative.
